Former England skipper Michael Vaughan who is in India as an expert for Indian Premier League recently made a comment about animals on Indian roads. His comment made the social media users irked as he said he only saw animals during his travels.
Vaughan tweeted: "Love travelling in #India... So far this morning we have seen elephants, cows, camels, sheep, goats & pigs all in the middle of the road."
Twitteratis found his tweet derogatory and they were quick to slam the followers of the game.
A fan wrote on his tweet: "Focus on selecting the English team for the World Cup and the Ashes. Heard Aussies are back in form just at the right time."
"We know that feeling since you get to see *only pigs* in England. Variety is good right?" another fan wrote.
Other tweets of the followers of the game:
"That's so typically British ! Mentioning love travelling , at the same time mocking India :)
Sorry that you couldn't find monkeys and donkeys , the whole UK is full of them !"
"What you have in England insane , illheart and pathetic people on the roads who always leave on other country bread and butter ur identity is zero because your country don’t have any thing of their England is best in pirates hahahahahahaha"
"What are you and the England Team doing in the middle of the road? Oh yeah, I forgot, you get paid to entertain us. So shut up and do what you're supposed to - entertain us, lick our shoes for money and get lost after a month"
“There is one more animal roaming on the streets named michael vaughan. Have a lovely trip... #OnOn”
The former skipper also commented RCB captain Virat Kohli should be given some rest before the upcoming World Cup after Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated sixth consecutive time.
Twitter users never leave any celeb or even their favourites unsaid on their remarks if those not went well down with them. The same happened with the former skipper.
