“Indian First, Then Tamil” says ISRO chief K Sivan, video goes viral

The video of Sivan's interview with Sun TV channel is becoming famous online on different social media platforms with Twitteratis appreciating the ISRO director for showing his national identity first.

"I am an Indian first," Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief Kailasavadivoo Sivan's splendid answer to a Tamil channel questioner has been winning many hearts on the web. Sivan picked his nationality over regional when a correspondent from Sun TV asked - as a Tamilian, how can it feel subsequent to making so much progress and what does he need to state to his locals from Tamil Nadu.


Answering to the Tamil channel, the ISRO chief stated, "As a matter of first importance, I am an Indian. I joined ISRO as an Indian. ISRO is where individuals from all locales and dialects work and contribute. However, I am appreciative of my siblings who commend me".

Known as 'sleepless scientist' among his companions, Sivan's inspiring journey from paddy fields to the highest position in ISRO is a motivation to numerous Indians.

On Saturday, Indians had a sense of foreboding deep in their souls as they viewed a sad Sivan after ISRO's highly hyped mission Chandrayaan-2 missed a noteworthy touchdown on the south pole of the Moon.

The daring mission endured a difficulty with the arrival module 'Vikram' losing communication with ground stations, just 2.1 km from the lunar surface during its last drop during the early hours of Saturday, September 7.

Be that as it may, the orbiter's on board camera found the lost module on Sunday and endeavors are in progress to see whether communication can be restored with the lander to make a notable touchdown on Moon.
