With the departure of Alastair Cook for 71, England lost five more at the expense of just 49 runs to stand at 198 for seven at stumps. Delighted with the fightback, Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan entertained the Oval crowd with some of his ravishing bhangra moves.

It was indeed a stunning third session for India who now has three more wickets to scalp before they can bat. In the meantime, Dhawan, who standing in the deep, entertained the Bharat Army with his bhangra moves. Delighted with the steps, Harbhajan Singh and former English cricketer David Llyod showed a few dance steps in the commentary box.

After the end of the day's play, former England skipper Nasser Hussain discussed England's performance on day 1 and said, “England can’t quite put the two bits of their innings together. We have seen England 40-3, 40-4 for a few years now and the middle order has to pull them out of trouble and on the one occasion the top order does fire the middle order is blown away. It’s yet another collapse for England but I think this one is understandable – it was down to some brilliant bowling. Shami has the best nought-for I have ever seen!"

Before today's test, Dhawan posted on Instagram in his defence.

"People who have been writing negative stuff. We are also hurt the day you guys are. It is important to learn from our mistakes and move forward. We give our best for the nation everytime we walk on the ground and the most important thing is as a team we should be in a good mindset before the next game," Dhawan posted on his Instagram page.

"We cannot change the past. So we do our hard work on the ground as always and keep our process strong. After practice, it is important to laugh and be happy so we create positivity in the team. That’s what champions do. Easy to be happy when winning. Warriors stay positive when things are down too. Thanks to the fans who are still supporting us," Dhawan wrote.

Earlier in during the tests too, Dhawan had posted and promised to come back strong but failed on it.
