On the occasion of Independence Day, beautiful actress Esha Gupta shared a Republic Day greeting on Twitter and people made fun of her for the same. The gorgeous claimed that her account had been controlled by someone else.
The original tweet has now been deleted. It was a stock Republic Day greeting, which was sourced from Shutterstock. Sometimes later, Esha wrote on Twitter that she had again got the control of her account. She wrote - “Account hacked please don’t open or respond to any DM through this account”.
Then, she thanked people saying - “Finally got the account back in order. Thanks to a lot of people who informed me on IG”. She also wrote suggesting people that don’t change your password if you get a mail about any unfamiliar activity on twitter and asks you to change the password as it can lead you to loose the cotrol of your account.
And then taking a dig at the several people who had commented about the goof-up, she wrote, “Happy Independence Day”. She also thanked people for telling an airforce daughter that she knows otherwise.
A lot many Twitter users had pointed out a mistake in response to the original tweet. One person wrote “It’s not Republic Day ma’am. It’s independence Day”. Another wrote - “Didi, Parade ka wait mat karna TV chalu karke (translated - Sister, don’t wait for the parade on TV)”. Others jokingly replied with different incorrect greetings. Some users also shared memes from Super 30, 2.0 and other popular films.
