Imtiaz Ali offered free ride in Mumbai rains by an auto rickshaw driver; Ali shares a selfie

Whenever there is a deed of kindness, it will go a long way. We all hear the news of crimes and mishaps as we wake up on a daily basis. In such a scenario, a story with a small amount of positive matter can make you smile for the rest of the day. If you are ready to smile, then here is another story from Mumbai that has caught the attention on social media.

The news is from Bollywood film maker Imtiaz Ali. Imtiaz has just wrapped up the shooting of his next movie in Mumbai and was walking in the rain in the city. All of a sudden, an auto rickshaw came from nowhere and asked whether he needs a ride. Imtiaz Ali refused the offer, but the driver kept on asking him again and again.

It was raining outside and Imtiaz did not have a cover. He then checked his wallet and said that he had no money at the time. The auto driver asked the filmmaker to sit inside the auto rickshaw and offered him a free ride.

He asked the driver to carry on and find any other customers who could pay him. The driver said that it was raining and Imtiaz would get wet. He again asked him to sit inside the auto so that he can drop him. Finally, Imtiaz Ali got into the auto rickshaw and started their ride.

Very soon another car stopped the rickshaw and a couple from the car said that they wanted to take a selfie with Imtiaz. It was at this moment that the driver realized that it was Imtiaz Ali. The driver also requested for a selfie with Imtiaz Ali and Ali responded that he too wants to take a selfie with the driver. In his much elaborated post, he shared a picture of his selfie with the driver of the auto rickshaw and from the picture we can see that Imtiaz was almost drenched with a sweet smile on his face.
