Ileana’s D’cruz to romance John Abraham in Anees Bazmee’s upcoming movie

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee has confirmed that he will be directing actor John Abraham in his upcoming movie 'Pagalpanti'. He says, "It will be with John Abraham and will go on floors in January 2019." He also said that they both are excited about the new collaboration. Bazmee and John have earlier worked together in Welcome Back which was released in 2015.

Bazmee told IANS over a phone call from Mumbai, "John is definitely there in Pagalpanti. I had done Welcome Back with John. It became a huge hit...I wanted and even he wanted that we do a new film together... Now we have a new subject, so he is quite excited and I am also very excited. We will start work on it soon."

A few months back, it was in the news that one among Sonakshi Sinha and Ileana D'cruz is going to play the female lead role. Now it is in the news that Ileana D'cruz is finalised for the role. For the first time, Ileana will star opposite John.

According to a source,"The film primarily revolves around two characters,but Ileans is solo heroine in it. Anees wanted someone with good comic timing and was impressed with her act in Mubarakan (2017), so he got her on the board. It is going to amazing seeing John and Ileana together for the first time."

There were several reports that Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan were considered for the other male lead role. But now it is in the news that Anil Kapoor is finalised for the role. Now it is being rumoured that the movie's name will also be changed. According to a source "It was previously called Saade Saati, but later changed to Pagalpanti. Anees isn't happy with either of the two and has decided to come up with something fresh. But as of now, Saade Saati will mostly be the working title".

Everybody is waiting for the final announcement of the characters and name of the movie.
