On Tuesday, the official trailer of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s upcoming film got released amid much fanfare. While some fans are swooning over Hrithik and Tiger’s super-stylish characters, there are others who are going gaga over the high-octane action. And of course, some have gathered enough inspiration from the trailer to kick-start a joke fest. And obviously Hrithik and Tiger are caught in the firing line.
Though, there are others too who have been targeted, they include Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, filmmmaker Karan Johar, Govinda and Ranveer Singh. The dialogues that have been played around with are - Jo seekha hai, aapse seekha hai(translated- whatever I have learnt, I have learnt from you), Main nahi sochunga(translated- I will not think) and Aap kisi aur tak pahunche, usse pehle main aap tak pahunchunga(translated- I reach you before you reach anyone else).
The trailer shows the face-off between Hrithik’s Kabir, who has gone rogue, and his former pupil, Tiger’s Khalid, who has been assigned the tough job to chase him down. The reactions to it are mostly positive but only if one leaves aside the jokes.
There was no launch event held for the unveiling of the trailer. Talking about it, director Siddharth Anand said that they were not able to organise a trailer launch event that could live up to the film’s scale, so they decided on scrapping it altogether.
The film is co-written by Aditya Chopra and Siddharth Anand and it also features Vaani Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in important roles. It is Produced by Aditya Chopra under the film production banner of Yash Raj Films, the film is slated to hit the screens on 2nd October.
