Hrithik Starrer Film Super 30 On Anand Kumar Is Likely To Be A Fictional Story

It seems Bollywood is running out of good scripts to make films and this is the reason why we are going to see a flood of biopics in the coming years. It started with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which was based on the life of a sportsperson and the latest biopic we saw is Sanju which is based on the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

In coming days, we will see many biopics and among them, one is Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30. Filmmaker Vikas Bahl's directorial Super 30 is said to be based on Anand Kumar, the mathematician who coaches underprivileged students to clear IIT exam. However, now as per reports, the film is not a biopic anymore.

According to reports, director Vikas Bahl, producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Madhu Mantena have become cautious after hearing the recent allegations on Kumar for misleading claims about his foundation Super 30. So, it might only be a fictional story of success of the mathematician.

Reveals a source, “Since the film is in post-production, they are considering removing all references to Anand. While it will revolve around a Math whiz whose coaching institute becomes successful, they will categorically not call it a biopic anymore.”

For uninitiated, the problem related to the mathematician is all about his claim. As Kumar had claimed that 26 out of 30 students from his institute Super 30 has cleared IIT entrance exam. However, the report of Dainik Jagran exposed that many on the list were from other institutions. When the students apply to take an admission in Super 30 classes, they are asked to take admission in Ramanujan School of Mathematics. It is the institute that fetches Kumar a whole lot of money. Now, it's obvious that how can makers now promote the film as one on Kumar and his terrific achievements.

A Canadian author, Biju Mathew who wrote a book under title Super 30 on mathematician Anand Kumar after watching some portions of the film with director Vikas Bahl, said, "It is a story of Anand's struggle and how he came forward to help others through his teaching. The film will be gripping and the lead role played by Hrithik is outstanding."

"It is basically a story of Anand Kumar's journey since childhood when he lost his brother and later his father. The expiry of a bread-earner can derail any family, and the same happened with him. But he did not give up and started eking out a living by giving private tuition, which later culminated into coaching and then Super 30," Biju Mathew further added.

Now, it is to see whether it will be a biopic or not!
