Hina Khan Is Looking Like A Goddess In The First Look Of Kasautii’s Komolika

Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 has been becoming everyone's favorite in a short span of time and after so much wait, here is the first look of Hina Khan as Komolika. Hina is playing the iconic vamp of Indian television. Earlier, this role was played by Urvashi Dholakia.

As per Ekta Kapoor, the maker of the show Hina is the real tadka of the show. In the first look, Hina Khan can be seen wearing a black and silver lehenga choli. She is looking stunning in a nose ring which might become her signature statement. She is also donned a kamar-bandh, necklace and jhumkas all in silver. It seems as if she is ready to do some dandiya.

In the show, Hina's full name is Komolika Chaubey and she is the daughter of Siddhant Chaubey who will be the buyer of Prerna (Erica Fernandes) and runs an illegal business. Naveen will sell her to Siddhant who is a politician from Meerut.

When former Komolika, Urvashi Dholakia was asked about Hina playing Komolika, she said, “Ekta (Kapoor) put her trust in me 18 years ago, the same she is doing now on Hina. Ekta has an eye for detail. Ekta has an eye for performers. Like she extracted what she wanted from me, I am sure she will extract it from Hina too. The baton has been passed and I wish Hina good luck in all honesty.”

On being compared to her, she said, “Comparisons will be there and you really can’t stop them from doing that, but people eventually catch on. And let’s take the case of millennials. They probably don’t even know me, it would relatively easy for them to relate to Hina.”

On how she bagged the role of Komolika, she replied, “I was shooting in Balaji office for Souten Bane Saheli, and Ekta called me to her cabin on the first floor. One look at me and she said, ‘You are going to be the next symbol of India, Komolika.’ I asked her what is Komolika. She said ‘that’s the name of your next character in a new show’. After some time, she introduced me to her mother Shobha Kapoor but Shobhaji rejected me and said: ‘Yeh! Yeh kaise kar payegi?’”

It is to see whether the new Komolika will be able to match the old Komolika!
