And finally, at midnight the curtain is being pulled by the priests at the temple so that everyone can see the Devine Krishna and devotees play with colours and celebrate the festival.
Even a playful event is celebrated on this day known as Matki Fod or Dahi Handi in which many people came together to break a Matki that is hanged at a height where people make hurdle to reach the Matki and the topmost person breaks with the help of coconut.
People put Maakhan in the Matki which Kanhaiya likes the most.
