Google recently launched their latest creation, Android 10 which is full of latest features and is absolutely bug free. Launched with the code name Quince Tart" or simply Android Q is an Android mobile operating system.
This year, in March unicode ( the group who develops unicode standard) released a set of fifty nine emoji which included an Indian temple, a diya lamp, a saree, some people holding hands with gender and skin tone variations. The emojis were released keeping in mind disabled people as they included an artificial arm, a person on wheelchair etc.
Now Google has adopted the same emojis of a Hindu temple, a saree and an autorickshaw, a diya in their latest release, Android 10 and Indian Twiterattis can't get over it. The emojis are said to be included on demand. The other emojis of unicode series are also included in Android10.
People took to Twitter to praise this decision and one twitter user even nominated Sundar Pichai for PM candidate. Here's the tweet :-
New features of Android 10 includes, dark mode, new theme options, live captions etc. Though the version is open for only Google pixel phones at present. Sameer Samat, VP for the product management department of Android said "We think this change helps make release names simpler and more intuitive for our global community."
