Go Goa Gone 2: We Can’t Wait To See The Madness Of Saif, Kunal And Vir Das

Remember 2013's Go Goa Gone that left everyone surprised with its huge box office success? Yes, this was the film that we love to see featuring Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das in the lead role. The trio was appreciated for their comic timing in the movie. And, now the makers have decided the sequel to the film titled as 'Go Goa Gone 2.' While, the film will go on floor in January 2019.

In an interview with the leading daily, Saif Ali Khan said, “We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second installment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script. The other characters played by Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das will also be a part of it. We start filming next January.”

However, some other source also quoted, “There will be another supporting actor as well as a heroine, who will aid Boris in his mission. The casting will be underway in a month’s time. Both the directors want an A-list actress for the role”

Not only Saif, but Kunal Khemmu too confirmed the reports while talking to the leading daily and told, "the core cast of the original will return with a sequel soon." Apart from the star, Taran Adarsh also tweeted: "Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das reunite for the sequel of 2013 zombie comedy #GoGoaGone... Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK... While the original cast remains the same, there will be an addition to it... Produced by Dinesh Vijan... Starts Feb 2019."

Go Goa Gone was the film made on budget of Rs. 19 crore only but the managed to earn Rs 24.24 crore. Talking about the professional front of the leading star, then Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Kaalaakaandi and he will be soon featured in Netflix’s Sacred Games alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
