Girls In Mumbai And Pune Can Now Rent A Boyfriend Via An App

Internet and Smart Phones have now become an essential part of our lives. Everything is just a click away. We can transfer money to person sitting in another continent, can buy clothes, grocery, gifts etc. We can also book cabs or bus, or rent a car for weekends. Life has become pretty easy. A lonely person can also make friends on social media. One can find life partner on apps like Shaadi.com. And the ones who look for casual hook-ups go for tinder.

And with time, there seems to be major up gradation as one can even rent a boyfriend on rent via an app. On August 15, a new website was launched with the name 'Rent A Boy Friend.' This new service is founded by 29-year-old Kaushal Prakash to cure depression. The founder claims that he himself was a victim of depression 3 years ago. He also says that the app is meant for intimate meetings.

According to them, "Rent A Boy|Friend has a thin line in between which implies restrictions (NO Physicality & NO Private place meets). Our main purpose is to eradicate Depression and provide a Pure friendship to the happy people as well."

Currently, the service is available in Mumbai and Pune, where one can pick from 6 handsome men with drool worthy abs. Their age ranges from 22 to 25.

Rent a boyfriend or RABF will have a toll-free number and will also provide psychiatric consultation for 15-20 minutes with Rs 500 as charges. Prakash says it will be easier to speak about these issues over the phone as in India, he feels, visiting a psychiatrist elicits the same kind of "log kya kahege (what will people say?)" response as a girl who wears short clothes in public.

It also claims to provide Employment to Males because obviously, one can be a part time boyfriend of someone and earn good amount. Men who are 10th or 12th standard pass will be considered qualified for the job.  RABF has three categories of 'boy friends'.  "You can rent a celebrity for Rs 3,000, or a model for up to Rs 2,000, or an aam aadmi (commoner) for just Rs 300-400 per hour.
