Founder Bill Gates quits Microsoft board, will focus on philanthropy

Bill Gates announces that he will not be a part of the leading group of Microsoft Corp as he is stepping down from the board. He founded Microsoft in the year 1975 and it's among the top-notch companies in the world. After stepping down from the board, he will be focusing more on philanthropy and guiding tech leaders.

From the past decade, Bill Gates is minimizing his involvement in the board. Currently, he was guiding Satya Nadella on innovation areas including efficiency, healthcare and technology optimization and will be continuing to do that.
