FIFA Best Player Award: Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi And Kylian Mbappe Are Among Top Nominees

FIFA World Cup is one the most watched sports in the world. The popularity of this game is so high that even in a cricket-loving country like India, the excitement of FIFA matches is always at its peaks. The FIFA Worldcup 2018 final between Croatia and France ended on Sunday where France became the world champion.

The final was held a few days back at the Luzhniki Stadium in Russia. The fans all over the world were on the edge of their seats as the two talented teams France and Croatia played the FIFA World Cup Final. France became the world champions and was awarded $38 Million along with the trophy. Croatia became the runners-up and was awarded $28 Million.

Recently, the FIFA announced a 10-man list of names shortlisted for the FIFA Best Men's Player Award for the year 2018-19 which includes star players Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi among others.

Ronaldo, who has moved to Juventus from Real Madrid, where he won his fifth UEFA Champions League trophy as well, has been named as the Best FIFA Men's Player the last two years.

Barcelona's Lionel Messi lifted the La Liga trophy as well as the Copa del Rey trophy with his club.

Antoine Griezmann and FIFA Young Player winner Kylian Mbappe after the duo helped France lift their second World Cup trophy.
