Female Priest Performs Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi’s Wedding Rituals; Pictures Go Viral

Actress Dia Mirza tied the knot her beau Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15, 2021. Their wedding ceremony was a private affair with only close friends and family members present. It was in Mumbai and the newlyweds even posed for the paparazzi waiting outside the venue.

Meanwhile, taking to her verified Instagram handle, Dia Mirza shared the pictures from her wedding ceremony. As a bride, she looked ravishing and indeed her groom looked nothing less than a prince out of some fairytale. The pictures are going viral on social media and everyone is blessing the lovebirds with good wishes.

However, one thing that caught everyone’s attention is the priest who performed the wedding rituals. Instead of having a male priest, Dia and the love of her life chose to have a female priest.

Dia’s wedding ceremony was conducted by a female priest named Sheila Atta. Taking to her Twitter handle, the RHTDM actress thanked Sheila Atta for performing the ceremony and talked about generation equality.

Sharing the picture, Dia Mirza wrote, “Thank you Sheela Atta for conducting our wedding ceremony. So proud that together we can Rise Up.” She accompanied it with the hashtags Rise Up and Generation Equality.

Speaking of Dia Mirza’s husband Vaibhav Rekhi, he is a Mumbai-based businessman. He stays in Mumbai’s posh Pali Hill locality. Dia Mirza kept her relationship with him away from the public eye.

Dia Mirza shared the adorable pictures from her wedding ceremony with a heartfelt caption. The caption reads, “Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you.. my extended family. May all puzzles find their missing pieces, may all hearts heal and may the miracle of love continue to unfold all around us.”

The netizens are gushing over the new IT couple of tinsel town, and are wishing them a life long of happiness and togetherness.
