Ekta Kapoor is well-known for producing successful TV serials which stay on viewer's list for decades. Ekta's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi had a great run from 2000-2008, Sakshi Tanwar’s Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii too aired during the same time. However, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi premiered in 2000 and continued until a 8-year run.
The daily soap introduced us to one of the most popular faces of television – Smriti Irani and one of biggest producers – Ekta Kapoor. Even though it has been a decade since it went off the air, nobody really seems to have forgotten anything.
From acting as dramatic as them to trolling them and even comparing it with GAME OF THRONES, the social media has lived its guilty pleasures time and again.
Remembering the epic day (July 3) of 2000 was Tulsi, now also known as Smriti Irani and a respected politician, who shared a picture on her Instagram feed. She wrote, "18 years ago began a journey that changed my life forever @ektaravikapoor @shobha9168 you believed in me when no one wanted to take a chance #ksbkbt fans & friends thank you for the support & blessings"
Ravi replied to her post in an epic way.
Following Smriti, Ekta made sure to give her vote of thanks as well. She shared an image with her leading lady and went on to acknowledge the whole team of Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She mentioned, "18 years ago this day @starplus and @sameern changed my life ! N a star unimaginable from a relatively new medium was born @smritiiraniofficial ! Thank you @ronitboseroy @shobha9168@rajeshjoshi n all who made this show #18yearsofkyunkiandkbc #18yearsofkyunkisaasbhikabhibahuthi"
Ekta is coming back with Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2, a sequel of her previous superhit daily soap. The fans are hoping that Ekta might have similar plans for Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi too.
