A devastating earthquake recently hit the Philippines that killed a minimum of 11 people on Monday. Here is a dramatic video witnessed after the earthquake. From the video footage, we can witness water falling down from an 82-feet lengthy swimming pool present on the rooftop of a building. From a plethora of video footages, we can witness how the earthquake had jolted the city skyscrapers in a shocking manner.

In Manila, there is a penthouse pool that burst out due to the earthquake. A powerful 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit Northern Philippines in the evening time on Monday. Besides the Philippines, the earthquake struck several other surrounding regions that include Manila. This media footage soon went viral on social media.

This video came out when the local resident Michael Rivo posted a video while the water started falling down the building from the swimming pool. There are some people who were still caught within the building in the Pampanga region. The Governor of Pampanga, Lilia Pineda said that there are more than 20 people who were rescued in the incident. Some others were injured due to the damage caused to a small building in the Porac town.

Pineda then said, 'There are still some people inside but [rescuers] can’t lift the debris that crashed down.' The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said that the earthquake took place at a magnitude of 6.1. The earthquake eventually spread across the town of Castillejos in Zambales regions, the west of Manila.

Due to the geographical positioning of the region, the Philippines is often prone to earthquakes. From the footage, we can see people running away from the water in the streets at the bottom of the building. Watch the video posted below.
