DSP Shilpa Sahu Stands In Scorching Heat Urging People To Follow Safety Protocols In Wake Of Health Emergency

There has been a sudden spike in positive cases in India forcing the government to strict actions.  Social media also has been buzzing asking people to kindly follow all the health safety guidelines to curb the spread of the infection. While many people are diligently following the protocols, others are just complying with the same.

In a recent turn of events, pregnant Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) has been working on the field to ensure that people are following the health safety measures. Her gesture to stay true to her duty is winning the hearts of the netizens.

DSP Shilpa Sahu is currently posted in the most affected town, Dantewada of Bastar division in Chattisgarh. She was seen regulating the traffic and urging people to wear masks. Her photos while doing the duty have been making rounds on the internet.

Taking to his Twitter handle, IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra shared the picture of Shilpa Sahu doing her work in the scorching summer heat. The caption alongside the picture reads, "The picture is of Dantewada DSP Shilpa Sahu. Shilpa, even during her pregnancy, is busy with her team in the scorching sun and is appealing to people on the streets to follow the lockdown (sic).”

In the pictures, we can see pregnant Shilpa Sahu holding a lathi in her hand and also wearing a mask while standing in the sun during summer. Reports claim that the DSP is five months pregnant. She has urged people to stay indoors and only step out when necessary.

The pictures shared by the IPS officer have gone viral on the internet and everyone is showering Shilpa Sahu with heaps of praises. However, a few social media users also expressed their concerns about her baby’s health.

Netizens are lauding Shilpa Sahu’s efforts and are saying that the country needs more of such dedicated officers at work during the time of crisis.
