Dhoni’s humility hailed on Twitter after seeing him polishing his shoes

Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has taken a two month break from all forms of cricket so as to serve the country. He will be staying with the army battalion in Kashmir till August 15th.

Lots of news are coming up from his training sessions with the army and he seems to be taking his duty very much seriously. He is also a humble and hardworking person, and everyone believes that he can be a great asset for the army.


In a recent photo shared on the internet, Dhoni was seen polishing his shoes and the photo went viral instantly. A lot of fans on the social media applauded Dhoni for his humble nature and was also hailed for his humility.


You cannot see him polishing his shoes while he is with the Indian cricket team on various tours. But, the 37 year old Dhoni has won the internet with his humble nature.


MS Dhoni is currently serving the 106 TA Batallion (Para) of the Indian Army in Kashmir currently. Since 2011, Dhoni has been an honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army.


Dhoni has been one of the most successful captains for the Indian cricket team and is well known for his cool and calm composure even in the tightest of the matches. He is also a swashbuckling batsman who is well known for his finishing abilities.

He is also a great wicket keeper and has several records under his best. He is one of the mainstays of the Indian battle middle order and knows very well to handle any kind of situation. Even at the age of 37, he is on par with any other youngsters, when it comes to fitness.  He skipped the Indian team's current West Indies tour for serving the army.
