Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak magic is going all around and marks Rs. 50 crore mark on its first week and crossed an impressive amount of Rs. 51 crores in seven days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh earlier predicted that the movie should close its first week at around Rs. 51 crores.
Taran Adarsh Instagrammed informing the same and wrote, "#Dhadak has a SOLID Week 1... Crosses ₹ 50 cr mark... Weekend 2 is crucial... Will the new releases [especially #MI6] affect its biz or will it stay strong?… Fri 8.71 cr, Sat 11.04 cr, Sun 13.92 cr, Mon 5.52 cr, Tue 4.76 cr, Wed 4.06 cr, Thu 3.55 cr. Total: ₹ 51.56 cr. India biz".
However, Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Fallout will surely affect the business of Dhadak in the second week as we all knew already that Tom Cruise's fans are crazy about MI6. Well, anything can happen as who knows Dhadak will do the business so well.
Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor are also getting positive reviews as well from all around- be it, critics or audience or the Bollywood fraternity. According to the reviews, it is said that the movie Dhadak has done justice to the official remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat. The Marathi version is a hit and so does Hindi version.
As per reports, Janhvi quoted as "I still think that I have a long way to go. I don't think the success of one film, even though it means the world to me, will change that perception."
"There are still many things that I need to do or I aspire to do to earn love, affection, and acceptance from the audience but it's a stepping stone of my career," she added.
The film is based on a seditious love story that goes beyond caste divide and shows that what young love is all about. How the current generation deals with Honor killing is what makes Dhadak connected with the audience. As Karan Johar is a close friend of Sridevi and the movie is done under his banner- Dharma Production, everyone is excited about the movie from its shooting days.
