These Details About Deepika’s Next Superhero Film Will Leave You Excited

After Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, fans are eagerly waiting to watch Deepika Padukone on screen. Deepika who played the role of Rani Padmavati is in the headlines for her next that would be a superhero flick. And, it is said that the will be a part of the country’s first female superhero franchise.

Earlier, Deepika was to start shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s film with Irrfan Khan. But, due to Irrfan’s health and schedule of the film has been postponed.

A source informed to the leading daily, “The costume will be sexy, not contrived or gimmicky. Since Deepika has an envious figure, a special outfit is being designed for her character which will be custom-made to facilitate hardcore physical combat and movement.”

The source further added, “Deepika’s avatar is being fashioned after Gal Gadot’s in Wonder Woman. The developments have been kept under wraps with a creative team holding discreet meetings with Deepika on a regular basis. Presently, a running bid is on for Rs 300 crore among multiple investors.”

We also have got to know she will undergo an expanded training for the film and said, “The 32-year-old-actress will begin training extensively in mixed martial arts and different styles of hand-to-hand combat. Since this is a first-of-its-kind megaproject, the timelines for pre-production will be long and the project will go on the floors next year.”
