Deepika Padukone prefers to do her chores, goes grocery shopping, see pictures

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is one of the most loved and biggest superstars till date. Despite all the fame, she is so grounded and even prefers doing her chores by herself. On Friday, she was spotted in the city of Mumbai as she was out for her grocery shopping.

Deepika was spotted wearing a black hoodie and a pair of ripped jeans. She complemented her look with sunglasses and black mask. Her pictures from her grocery shopping are now going viral on social media. In the pictures, she was seen carrying two shopping bags from the store to her waiting car.

After shopping, Deepika was later spotted at a restaurant. She was accompanied by her husband Ranveer Singh, and Shakun Batra, the director of her upcoming film.

Deepika in one of her interviews earlier revealed that she deals with all domestic duties herself. She likes to do her chores and Ranveer often asks her why she chooses to do it.

Deepika shared that her typical day is like anyone else’s where she wakes up and sometimes there is no water in the tap or there’s some problem with the staff. It is like any other home or situation which she handles on her own. She added that's the way she is and she has been brought up. It's now the part of her nature. She does so many things like packing, unpacking, ordering groceries, managing the home and office on her own.

Deepika also shared that Ranveer is different and he keeps on asking her that why she wants to do it herself. But she can't help it as she is extremely hands-on with her home, with her staff and any other issue that one must deal with on a daily basis.

On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika will be seen together in sports drama "83", directed by Kabir Khan. Ranveer will be seen playing former cricketer Kapil Dev, while Deepika will play Kapil's wife, Romi, in the film. She is also working on her another film "Pathan" with director Siddharth Anand.
