The video, wherein two chimpanzees giving bath to a dog is doing rounds across social media platforms and internet. The video was shot in South Carolina at the Myrtle Beach Safari. It was shared by the facility's trainer, Kody Antle.
In the video, the dog is sitting in a bathtub. A man gives some soap in the chimp’s hands after which they give a thorough wash to the canine. The chimps in the video were identified as Vali and Sugriva and the dog's name is Buda. It is interesting to note that the Vali and Sugriva are the characters of the Ramayana which is a religious epic.
When the dog is done, then the chimps and the man clean themselves and the animals even help the man by rubbing soap on his body.
The private preserve, which was earlier known as TIGERS, has been instrumental in saving many rare and endangered species from extinction.
The spectacular video has been shared over 6 lakh times on Instagram and has made its way to Twitter, Facebook and Reddit. It had delighted the internet and viewers are giving out their reactions on it.
One user wrote - "How beautiful to see you transmitting and receiving all this love from the most special beings in the universe @kodyantle. Congratulations on your dedication and love for animals", while another said - "I swear that Vali and Sugriva are having more fun than Buda."
Though, there were some who criticised the behaviour of the chimpanzees as unnatural and pointed out that they are wild animals and should not act in this way.
