Chhichhore: A story of college going students as well as middle age people

In Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichore, all the lead characters will be seen in two different timelines. One of the film's portion is set in 1992, while in the second portion, the same character will be seen in today's time, that is 2019. Film director Nitesh Tiwari explains - "Every character of the film is a college going student as well as a middle age person. In 1992’s portion, the characters are shown as batchmates and hostelmates whereas in 2019’s portion, the relationship between them, their mutual understanding and ambitions have been showed and the film is completely based on this. The trailer for this film will be released on Friendship Day.

This film is inspired by real life. Nitesh Tiwari himself is a passout of IIT Mumbai and most of the characters are inspired by his senior and junior students apart from his own batch. Though, the name of IIT Mumbai has not been taken directly in the film. Instead the name of a fictional college has been taken. Its name is National College of Technology. The film will be released on 30th August this year.

With this movie, Shradhha’s two movies release can be clashed on the same day, that is on 30th August. Due to the release date of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Sahoo on 30th August, there can be a clash. Indeed, on 30th August, the movie "Chhichhore" is also going to release with co-star Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma and the chances of change of its release date are very low.
