Check out the Bollywood stars that have pursued engineering

The debate about Bollywood stars being educated has picked speed in the recent days after passing away of the talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput. There are a few film stars that have studied engineering, but then left it to pursue their career in acting. Let us take a look at some of the engineers in the cine industry that followed their passion and turned into actors, leaving behind their degree.

Sushant Singh Rajput

The Manav Deshmukh of popular show Pavitra Rishta was pursuing Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical field from Delhi Technological University back in time, but he left it in the middle for his love for cinema. After three years of the course, he left his studies and went on to pursue his dream to become an actor. It's, however, extremely heart breaking that the actor could not continue his dream for long and left for his heavenly abode well before time.

Kriti Sanon

This long leg diva has left her mark with her outstanding performances in films like Luka Chuppi and Bareilly Ki Barfi among others. Kriti has a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology.

Kartik Aaryan

The handsome Pati Patni Aur Woh actor moved to Navi Mumbai to pursue an engineering degree in Biotechnology, but he dropped from college in his third year as he got a chance to star in the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama. He however finished off his studies before signing further projects.

Taapsee Pannu

The talented actress has done a wise selection of movies till date like Pink, Game Over and Badla. She has done her graduation in Computer Science Engineering from Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.

Vicky Kaushal

The Uri star Vicky Kaushal also pursued engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology.  He also did a job in the same field before debuting into movies.
