CBSE Board Provides Fresh Clarification As Students Insist On Cancellation Of Exams

Amid the rising positive cases in the country, students are demanding on cancellation of CBSE Board Exams for the year 2021. The students are adamant on their demand due to which the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a fresh clarification.

In their fresh clarification issued on Friday, the CBSE Board said that the schedule for the exam has already been set. Thus, pushing forward the CBSE Board Exams 2021 now will not help students in any sort of way.

The Exam Controller at the CBSE, Sanyam Bhardwaj said that the students of class 12 would be entering higher education for which the dates and time table has already been set. He further added that there are many students who are planning to out of India to study where the academic calendar is as if now decided.

Sanyam Bhardwaj also mentioned that with the treatment and availability of vaccines and treatments the cancellation of CBSE Board exams 2021 won’t be of any help to the students.

Speaking of all the health safety measures for students during the exams, he said that the CBSE Board will be taking all the necessary steps. He further said that when no other activity in the country hasn’t come to a halt then why should students’ future suffer owing to this crisis.

CBSE Board has issued this fresh clarification after more than one lakh students of classes 10 and 12 signed an online petition requesting the government to either cancel or postpone their board exams 2021.

For a while now, social media has been trending with the hashtag ‘Cancel Board Exams 2021’. Many students have expressed their opinions on why it is not safe to be conducting exams while the country faces the wrath of a viral infection.

A couple of days back, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have said that they have made arrangements for students and all the health safety guidelines will be followed during the examination.

According to the revised data sheet for CBSE board exams 2021, the exams for class 10 would be held between May 4 to June 7, whereas for those appearing for class 12 exams it will be held between May 4 and June 15.
