Bride sets an Example by Refusing to go to in-laws House before Casting her Vote

India is a democratic country and its citizens have the right to choose their minister. As elections are going on the strength of democracy lies in its voters. The citizens have to their duty by casting their vote and it’s their spirit that they go to booths and use their right to vote.We all know how important is to vote but some people don’t bother about it and just think that election day is just a holiday. However, there are people who don’t think so and understand how important it is to cast their vote.

Yet another example is set by a bride named Khushi Kanwar from the Tilora village in Pushkar, Rajasthan. The bride had a marriage that day , she completed her wedding rituals at 5:00 am in the morning. As it is traditionally done after that a bride goes to her in-laws but this bride refused to their place before using her right to vote. Her named had added to the voter’s list for the first time.

The bride's parents and her in-laws keep on requesting her to come but she didn’t listened to anyone and had decided to that she will cast her vote and then only go. Finally, they gave up and took her to the polling station.

Khushi was the first one to reach at the polling booth while dressed in her bridal attire. It has attracted the attention of many people over there. The bride said that as she is starting the new chapter of her life it was important to fulfil her duty towards her nation, before she got on with her life.

Isn’t it amazing that someone is so dedicated towards the nation and thinks about the strength of democracy. The new bride sets an example and inspires the citizens of the nation to understand their duty to caste the vote and strengthen the democracy of Nation.
