Boney Kapoor is Overwhelmed with Daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s Zingaat

Karan Johar roped in newcomers Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter for the sequel of Marathi movie Sairat. After the trailer impressed everyone, now its song Zingaat is enthralling the viewers. People can't stop raving about it.

It is to see whether Dhadak(official remake of Sairat) will be able to make the record like Sairat. Meanwhile, Janhvi recently talked about her father's reaction to the song, she said, "He is very happy with the response for this song. He actually updates me that the song is trending and it has got a large number of views on various digital and social media platforms."

The data says approx 19 million views have been garnered by Zingaat within two days of its release. The original Zingaat gathered 119 million views on YouTube.

Also, when Janhvi Kapoor was asked whether her father shared acting tips with her, she said: "Papa did not give me any acting tips, but love, encouragement and a lot of support. So I think that is more than enough."

While talking about Zingaat, Janhvi said: "This song is very important in terms of the story-line and characters of the film."

 

"Our film is based on a social issue. This film will give a really strong social message which is why I feel everyone should watch this film," said Janhvi when she was asked about the message the film gives. She also said, "There was no pressure. We wanted to make a good song, something that is true to our film but we didn't take any pressure. We were trying to play our characters, trying to make our director happy and listening to Farah Khan (choreographer) ma'am."

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi starrer film will hit screens on July 20.
