Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor get Emotional remembering Sridevi at IIFA 2018

Four months have passed when Bollywood legend Sridevi passed away at a hotel in Dubai. However, the Kapoor family, fans, and the entire Bollywood industry has still not come over the shocking demise of the actress. Though the Kapoor family is trying hard to move on, there are several instances when they miss the presence of Sridevi.

Yesterday, the Bollywood industry marked their presence at IIFA 2018 held in Bangkok. Late actress Sridevi won the award of 'Best Actress' for her film 'Mom'. Boney Kapoor went to the stage to receive the award. However, he got emotional at the moment. Boney's brother Anil Kapoor too was very close to Sridevi as they shared a good bond. Anil and Sridevi had worked in several films together and their chemistry was loved by fans. Anil too was teary eyes on the stage and he hugged his elder brother Boney.

Doting son Arjun Kapoor stood by father Boney's side to calm him down. In fact, everyone in the auditorium got emotional and there was a silence at that moment.

Recently, Sridevi's daughters Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor broke down at the trailer launch of 'Dhadak'. Sridevi always wanted to see her daughter Janhvi making debut in Bollywood, and just months before the release of her film, she passed away.

Janhvi was totally dependent on her mother and said, “I could always be the baby with her. When I’d wake up, the first thing I’d do was ask for her. I’d need her to put me to sleep sometimes and she literally had to feed me. The day before she left for the wedding, I had to shoot, but I couldn’t sleep, so I was like, I need you to come and put me to sleep. But she was packing, so by the time she came to me I was half asleep. But I could feel her patting my head.”

Meanwhile, Janhvi is waiting for the release of her debut film 'Dhadak'. and Anil Kapoor is waiting for 'Fanne Khan'.
