Bollywood’s Two Super Khans, Aamir and Salman Were School Buddies

Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are the superstars of Bollywood. The 52-year-old stars are enjoying immense success in their professional lives and taking box-office by storm with their films.

Aamir and Salman also maintain a friendly bond and are also spotted at each other’s family functions and partying together on various occasions.

However, not many are aware that Salman and Aamir’s friendship dates back from their school days.

During one of his interviews with a leading web portal, Mr. Perfectionist Aamir had revealed how he met Salman for the first time.

He said, “The first time I met Salman was at Babla’s (director Aditya Bhattacharya’s) house, who made Raakh (1989). Incidentally, Salman and I were in the same class for a year in the second standard (at St Anne’s, in Pali Hill). And we didn’t know each other then! I was at Babla’s house to discuss a short film called Paranoia, where I was the actor, spot-boy, production head, first AD – all rolled into one. We shot that film for a month. I was 15, and this is the first time I ever acted. Salman was cycling around in Carter Road. He knew Babla too. We stood on the balcony and talked. He told me about how he also wanted to become an actor. I thought of him as a sweet chap.”

Now this news is definitely a delight to hear for all the die-hard fans of Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

We are sure they must have had a gala time in their school days.

On the professional front, Aamir Khan is currently busy shooting for Yash Raj Films’ Thugs Of Hindostan which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Sana Fatima Sheikh in the important roles. The movie is directed by Dhoom 3 fame Vijay Krishna Acharya. Thugs Of Hindostan is slated for Diwali 2018 release (November 7).

Talking about Salman Khan whose Race 3 has hit the silver screens on EID and is doing wonders at the box-office. The multi-starrer flick also stars Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem in important roles. The movie has crossed the 100-crore mark in just three days. Salman will be next seen in Bharat which will be directed by Sultan fame Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie will mark the comeback of Priyanka Chopra and will also have a multi-star cast.
