Bollywood fraternity’s message for the Indian contingent at the Tokyo Olympics

The much-awaited 2020 Summer Olympics which were scheduled to take place last year but had to be pushed owing to the Coronavirus pandemic are finally underway!

Bollywood celebrities Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar took to their social media handles to wish the Indian contingent good luck and to shower them with encouragement.

Akshay Kumar shares a video of himself wishing the contingent all the very best and said that the country is proud of them. Akshay was nominated by the Union Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur.

Akshay Kumar is asking the contingents to perform their very best and said that India is supporting and is proud of all of you. He further nominated some other people to do the same.

Salman Khan also posted a video of himself wishing the Indian squad. He is extending his support and best wishes to the Indian squad at the Olympics and asked others to do so as well.

Salman Khan had been nominated by minister Kiren Rijuju.

He wrote alongside the video, “I join the campaign to support our Indian Olympic team … #Tokyo2020. I accept the challenge given by @KirenRijiju #HumaraVictoryPunch.”
