BMC scolds Shahid kapoor for using gym despite city wide shut down

The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) reprimands the actor Shahid Kapoor and gym owner for exclusively working out at Anti Gravity Club in Bandra. According to Mumbai Mirror's report, the authorities have reprimanded them both for their disgusting behavior and sealed that particular gym. On Sunday evening, Shahid and wife Mira Rajput were snapped working out at the gym for almost two hours.

Not just that, the gym follows the rule for the entire day of gym shut down because of coronavirus, but only opens in the evening at around 5:30 p.m. for the celebs and their close relatives.

The gym owner Yudhistir Jaising defended Shahid's presence at the gym as they were spending time at the gym since the actor is a 'close friend'. Shahid's PR team has not yet commented on the matter.

Assistant Municipal Commissioner of H-West ward, Vinayak Vispute, told Mirror, ''It was wrong on the part of the gym to remain open, even for one patron. If gymnasiums don’t follow state directives, they will be booked under relevant sections and licenses will be revoked."
