BJP pulls out of J&K alliance Govt after repeated attacks on forces and civilians

Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has pulled out of J&K alliance Govt after repeated attacks on forces and civilians. This means that the PDP and BJP alliance is over in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. he BJP had 25 lawmakers and the PDP had 28 in the state assembly.

While making the official announcement, BJP leader Ram Madhav said, "After taking inputs from ground and consulting PM and BJP President, we have decided it has become untenable for us to continue in J&K Govt. We have taken this decision after consensus of all party leaders."

This indicates that Jammu & Kashmir will be now under Governor’s rule. Governor NN Vohra will govern the state now. Security Ops against Pakistan sponsored terrorists will now continue with full steam.

The Security Forces are happy with the decision. The decision of termination of alliance was taken after Kasmir based Army Rifleman Aurangzeb was abducted and killed by militants. The nation was angered with his death and martyr's father demanded revenge.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has submitted her resignation to Governor NN Vohra. Ram Madhav, the National BJP President said, " Mehbooba failed to handle the situation in the valley. We have taken a decision, it is untenable for BJP to continue in alliance with PDP in Jammu & Kashmir, hence we are withdrawing."

PDP leaders will meet today evening to discuss future strategies.
