Birthday Special, Movies That Prove Kajol Is A Blockbuster Queen

Well-known actress Kajol, who is celebrating her 43rd birthday, possesses a record of the maximum number of wins in the Filmfare Best Actress group. Kajol has bagged 6 Filmfare honours in her profession thus far and has also been honoured the title of Padma Shri, the fourth chief civilian admiration of the nation.

Here is a list of Kajol's 10 most unforgettable films -

Baazigar (1993)

This was Kajol’s first major hit and the film introduced the super hit Jodi SRK and Kajol together for the first time.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)

The film needs no introduction as it is loved and praised by one and all. DDLJ is also the movie that made Kajol bagged her first Filmfare Best Actress honour.

Gupt: The Hidden Truth (1997)

This movie is surely one of the superior detective novels to have emerged out of Bollywood. And Kajol's acting was just superb. Of course, the actress pocketed the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a negative character.

Ishq (1997)

Her first big hit with then-beau, now-hubby Ajay Devgn, Ishq was a multi starrer project that showcased Kajol at its emotional core.

Dushman (1998)

Dushman boasted of Kajol in a double role, playing lookalike sisters. To say that the actress was outstanding in both the characters would be an irony. She flawlessly depicted, first the dissimilarity between the two loving sisters, and after that the helplessness of the second sister.

Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (1998)

It is the remake of super hit film French Kiss, and this movie showcased Kajol's brilliant comic timing, as she bagged yet another super hit to her long list. She shared an amazing chemistry with hubby Ajay Devgn in the film.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)

One of the major hits of Kajol's career, KJo's directorial debut showcased her yet again with King Khan. The movie witnesses her change from a tomboy college girl to a stunning woman.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001)

The last movie she worked in before giving the delivery of her daughter Nysa, this movie witnessed the KJo-SRK-Kajol trio back with a bang as the movie was an instant runaway success. The film won her 3rd Filmfare Best Actress honour for this one.

Fanaa (2006)

Fanaa also witnessed her idealistically paired opposite Mr Perfectionist for the first time. The movie was a major victory and fetched Kajol one more Best Actress honour.

My Name Is Khan (2010)

Whilst the name proposes it to be a complete Khan fare, Kajol had a vital role in the movie's achievement. It was an unconventional love tale that struck a deep chord with the viewers.

Here's wishing the beautiful actress a very happy birthday!
