Big B and Emraan Hashmi to Share Screen Space in a Mystery Thriller, Film Shoot Begins on 10th May

The Bollywood Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi will soon make their appearance together on the silver screen in a mystery thriller. After the recently released film 'Badla', Amitabh is geared up for his next flick under the direction of Rumi Jaffrey. In this film, Amitabh will be seen in the role of a lawyer. Emraan will take part in the film in the role of a business magnate.

As per the latest reports, the film will kick start the film shoot soon on 10th May. It is for the first time for the duo to act in a film together. The Producer of the film Anand Pandit said, 'It is a mystery-thriller that revolves around a group of friends, some of whom are retired lawyers. They meet at a bungalow in Shimla and play a psychological game. It’s an intriguing story with Bachchan Saab as one of the lawyers, while Emraan plays a business tycoon. This is the first time that the two actors are working together. We are constructing a huge set of the bungalow at a Malad studio.'

Earlier, the director wrote for the films such as Gali Gali Chor Hai, Biwi No 1 and Hero No 1. In some of the films like Badla and Pink, Amitabh was seen in the role of Lawyer and it's the third time for the actor to play the same role. The film features Annu Kapoor. Adding to that, Anand said, 'Rumi has given the final touches to the script that has been penned by a group of writers. We will begin the reading sessions from Tuesday while he has already begun prep. We will wrap up the Mumbai schedule on June 12.'

The filmmakers have slated to release the film on 21st February 2020. The previous film of Amitabh grossed more than Rs 138 crore across the world starring Tapsee Pannu.
