Bhumi Pednekar went all the way to Chambal to visit an orphanage

Actress Bhumi Padnekar will soon be seen in Son Chiraiya, an Abhishek Chaubey directorial movie. The movie's shooting is done in Chambal and Bhumi loves the place as she gets attached to it by the end of the shoot days. So, even after the movie is done when Bhumi gets some free time she went all the way to Chambal to visit an orphanage which is extremely close to her heart. Bhumi got really attached to the locals in the valley. When she was shooting in Chambal and when she wasn’t shooting she made sure that spends the time with the kids there.

In Son Chiriya, she is playing a small-town woman from the Chambal valley, and the story is set in the 1970s. When the first look from the movie, we saw her in a fierce avatar holding a rifle on her shoulder.

A source who is closely related with the ashram in Chambal told a leading daily, "It was during this time that she discovered Abhyudaya, an ashram that really took care of the kids and ensured they were being looked after well and receiving all the basic facilities so that they could try and realize their dreams. She was deeply moved after meeting the kids staying at the ashram. The facility took care of the education of girl children in the valley and they were doing a great job in shaping these children. Post the shoot, she was eager to visit the place again and meet her little friends".

Further, the source added, "Bhumi travelled all the way to Chambal again on Wednesday and she packed a lot of gifts for all the kids living at Abhyudaya. The kids were thrilled to see their favourite Bhumi paying them a surprise visit. It was a very emotional moment for both. There were tears of joy, lots of conversation, fun and games and Bhumi ensured that she made their day. At the end of the day, the kids were just not letting Bhumi leave. She promised them that she would be back soon".

Bhumi has done only three movies but she has already shown everyone her acting skills and the talent she got.

In the movie, Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee, Ashutosh Rana and Ranvir Shorey are also playing some pivotal roles. The movie will release on February 9, 2019.
