Batti Gul Meter Chalu Trailer Conveys The Social Issues Along With A Dash Of Comedy

After delivering an impeccable performance in Padmaavat, Shahid Kapoor is back with another release of 2018 and it is Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

The movie had created a lot of buzz even before its inception as its title is a quirky one which left the fans eager to know what is the flick about.

A day before the trailer release, the makers of the film along with the star cast had unveiled the film's three posters which featured Shahid, Shraddha Kapoor, and Yami Gautam.

And now, the trailer of the flick is out and we can't stop raving about it. Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a film which is based on a social issue of electricity faced by people in the country, especially in small towns.

Shahid shared the trailer on Twitter and captioned it, "Ab hogi Batti Gul toh hogi masti chaalu!! Here’s the #BattiGulMeterChaluTrailer! bit.ly/BattiGulMeterC @ShraddhaKapoor @divyenndu @yamigautam @TSeries @bgmcfilm #BhushanKumar @ShreeNSingh @KuttiKalam #VirenderArora"

Shahid and Shraddha's chemistry is worth a watch plus we also get to see Shahid in a comic avatar after a long time. Yami Gautam too had a pivotal role of a lawyer to play in the film, however, she was hardly shown in the trailer. Divyendu Sharma too is good with his part.

The film has a dash of comedy, drama, romance and some serious real-life issues which are portrayed in the right manner.

We are expecting it to be a full proof entertainment film along with some important message for one and all who are facing this issue.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shree Narayan Singh, Nitin Chandrachud, Kusum Arora and Nishant Pitti.

The film will mark second collaboration of Shraddha and Shahid after Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider which was a huge hit.

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is all set to release on the big screens on 21st September.
