There is a piece of good news for all the admirers of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple is expecting their second child together and is on cloud nine. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are parents to a 1-year-old son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expecting their second baby has been confirmed by the Royal sources. A spokesperson for the duo said in a statement, “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
The lovebirds have shared a monochrome picture of themselves. In the picture, they are seating near a tree with Harry’s hand placed under Meghan’s head as she lies on his lap with her hand resting on the baby bump.
A spokesperson of Buckingham Palace also congratulated Prince Harry and Meghan. The spokesperson said, “Her Majesty, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, and the entire family are delighted and wish them well.”
Earlier in an interaction with chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall, the Duke of Sussex had said that he would have two children for the sake of the planet.
The Duke and Duchess’ second pregnancy have come after a miscarriage. In the November edition of The New York Times, the Suits star opened up about suffering a miscarriage in July 2020. She expressed that it is unbearable grief experienced by many but talked about by only a few.
Meghan said that opening about such an incident is the first step towards healing and a load of grief often becomes lighter.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged the vows at Windsor Castle in May 2018. Their son Archie was born a year later.
In early 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit their Royal duties and moved to North America alongside their son. It was due to the unbearable intrusions and racist attitude of the British media.
