Asian Games Day 6: India Bags 1 More Gold And 2 Bronze Medals In Rowing

Asian Games 2018 are currently in progress in Jakarta and everyone is cheering for their country. The players which are representing their countries are trying their best to bag as many medals as they can.

Indian players Sawarn Singh, Dattu Bhokanal, Om Prakash and Sukhmeet Singh bagged a gold in rowing. Dushyant has been a champion and was declared as the best rower in the year 2013 National Championships. The ace rower finished third on the podium with a timing of 7.18.76. He was successful in winning a bronze in Lightweight Single Sculls. Rohit Kumar, Bhagwan Singh also bagged a bronze in Lightweight Double Sculls. So India gets another gold and two bronze medals. While Indonesia and Thailand are placed second and third respectively.

India manages to win against Pakistan 24-23 in men's Handball Main Round - Group 3 match in Handball.

Aadil Bedi is ranked 3rd, Rayhan Thomas John is on 4th, Naveed Kshitij Kaul is on 7th, Mohan Hari Singh is on 42nd in Golf men's individual event Round 2.

While for in Golf women's individual 2nd round, Diksha Dagar gets on 16th position, Sifat Sagoo is on 22nd and Ridhiman Dilawari is on 28th.

In clinical India manages to win against Iraq 155-147 in Compound Mixed Team event to advance to the quarterfinals in Archery.

At present, Harjinder Singh and Amit Kumar are placed sixth and eighth respectively in men's 300 metre Standard Rifle final event.

Rohit Kumar/Bhagwan Singh manages to win bronze in men's Lightweight Double Sculls. This is India's 20th medal at the Games. Whoa, India, long way to go!

India women's Epee team beats Indonesia 45-24 to advance to the quarterfinals.
