Asian Games 2018: Sanjeev Rajput Wins Silver

Sanjeev Rajput has given eighth medal to India at Asian Games 2018. He has won silver in Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions category. He shot a total of  452.7 to be on the second position on the podium at the JSC - Shooting Range. Zicheng Hui from China won gold with 453.3, while Japan's Takayuki Matsumoto won a  bronze medal.

Indian shooters are making our country proud at the Asian Games. 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary won Gold in 10m AP. Apart from winning the Gold, he has also set Asian Games record scoring 240.7 in Men's 10m Air Pistol medal event.

Earlier, Deepak Kumar bagged a silver medal in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle event while Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar had won bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event.

Haryana Girl Vinesh Phogat has bagged a gold in Women's Freestyle 50 Kg Event by beating Japan's Yuki Irie. With this she has become the first Indian Woman Wrestler to win a gold in Asian Games. Anil Vij, A minister from Haryana has also congratulated her and announced that she will be honoured with Rs 3 crore cash as award along with a job in HCS/HPS.

19 year old Lakshya Sheoran has won silver in Men's Trap at Asian Games 2018. On Monday, he shot a total of 39 in final to finish second on podium at the JSC - Shooting Range.
