Aishwarya, Abhishek and Big B to come together for a film titled Gulab Jamun

Real life pair Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has not worked together since long. Their last offering together was Mani Ratnam’s Raavan that hit the screen in the year 2010.

However, we have a positive news for their buffs, yes the two might be seen together again in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming venture, Gulab Jamun.

Gulab Jamun will be a drama-comedy.

The debate commenced a couple of years back but the actor who showcased their keenness in the project had some conditions about the screenplay. There was news that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had rejected the movie offer but it came out that they are a vital part of the major project and just awaiting the developments on the screenplay.

Gulab Jamun is written by Sarvesh Mewara, who will also act as the head of the project.

An authorized statement by the Phantom Films poster is taking place. The project was suspended as the screenplay was being sent back by the actors and details such as fee and dates were being exercised.

As per reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchna have turned elderly pair however the twist is that they will not be boasting white hair and emerge old in the film.

The film might feature Big B who will play the character of an elder Abhishek. But, the search for the actress who will don the role of an older Aishwarya is going on as Jaya Bachchan said no to the offer.

For the first time, the hubby wifey worked in Dhai Akshar Prem Ke that was accompanied by Kuch Naa Kaho, Umrao Jaan, Dhoom 2 and Guru.

While shooting Umrao Jaan and Guru, the two turned best friends and then lovers.

After the release of Guru which was helmed by ace personality Mani Ratnam, the two made declaration about their verdict to get married in the year 2007. The two also worked together in Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar Raj in which Big B also donned a major role.
