Around four months back Navjot Singh Sidhu decided to leave The Kapil Sharma Show after ruling the show for a long time.
After the exit of Navjot Singh Sidhu, it was Archana Puran Singh who was brought in as a replacement for him.
From being there on behalf of Sidhu for only two week period to now turning out to be a permanent fixture on the super hit show, the ace personality has had quite a journey.
From her initial week, shehas been performing exceptionally well.
In a recent interview, Archana Puran Singh revealed what made her to get on to the show after Sidhu’s exit.
She said that, when the Kapil Sharma Show started, she was judging Comedy Circus and in the show, she happened to see Kapil Sharma. Since she was judging the programs, The Kapil Sharma Show team brought on Navjot Singh Sidhu.
When Sidhu was away from the show for two weeks, Kapil Sharma called Archana for the two episodes. Again when Sidhu left the show for election campaign, Archana Puran Singh was called for some of the episodes.
She was very much excited to be back on the show as the crew members were very much similar as Comedy Circus. She just felt like having a reunion and felt comfortable while working for the Kapil Sharma show.
"When Sidhu went away for about two weeks, Kapil called me for two episodes. When he had to leave again for his election campaign, I was called for a couple of episodes. I was excited to be back because the backstage and onstage teams are pretty much the same as Comedy Circus. It was a sort of reunion and a lot of comfort working with Kapil and the team," she told media people.
When she was asked about how Krushna Abhishek and Kapil Sharma who used to make fun of her and pulling her leg on the incident of replacing Sidhu, she said that the same kind of joke has been experienced by her since she was in Comedy Circus.
In another interview, Archana Puran Singh also talked about how she is different from Sidhu. She said that both of them are two different individuals and both have earned a name for themselves.
Both of them have different personalities and feel happy in their own space.
