Arbaaz Khan’s role in the Indian Premier League (IPL) betting case has been seen as increasing. Police believe that the Bollywood actor might have links to gangster Dawood Ibrahim. During interrogation on Saturday, Arbaaz admitted placing bets in the IPL via bookie Sonu Jalan alias Sonu Malad.
The Thane police’s anti-extortion cell (AEC) recorded Arbaaz’s statement as well. In the interrogation, Dilip Ludhani’s name who is the son of a Mumbai-based property developer came out. He operates from Dubai.
Though sources have revealed, "Arbaaz allegedly admitted to betting a huge amount and also losing a bigger amount in the IPL bets after which he was reportedly harassed and threatened by Jalan for coughing the amount."

While an investigation officer said, "The media this afternoon that so far six accused have been arrested in the case while laptops and CDs recovered from them have been sent for forensic analysis."
Arbaaz, on the other hand, said he was fully cooperating in the ongoing investigations and answer all the queries of police.
