Anand Mahindra did as he said; replaced plastic bottles with metal bottles

It has just been a few months that a Twitter user pointed out to the chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra that the Mahindra Group should use bottles made of steel instead of using plastic bottles in the meeting rooms.

The chairman of Mahindra Group, in July during the K.C.M.E.T scholarship selections, has shared an image of the meeting room on the social media platform. It can be clearly seen in the said image that everyone in the meeting room has had a plastic bottles put on their desk. A follower of Anand Mahindra was really quick to point that out and tell him about it.

Anand Mahindra is known to be very much responsive on social media and hence, he actually followed the comment and took a step to do something about it. And now, the chairman of the Mahindra group has made the replacement of plastic bottles with metal bottles that are refillable in the meeting rooms.

Anand, while talking about the product, has tweeted that they have come up with metallic refillable bottles to replace the plastic bottles in the meeting rooms. And the bottles are not only functional but they are aesthetic as well.

It has been reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to ban the use of single-use plastic by October 2. Single-use plastic as the name suggests is the plastic that can only be used once. The corporate and public sector units of Indian government have started aligning themselves with PM Modi's goal of scrapping single-use plastic by the year 2022.
