Amitabh Bachchan Kick-starts KBC 10 Shooting, Announces On Twitter

Amitabh Bachchan who has hosted several successful seasons of Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to be back with the tenth season. The legendary megastar who is quite active on Twitter and enjoys millions of followers made an announcement about the same with a post.

The superstar of Bollywood shared the news about kick-starting for KBC's 10th season and also thanked his fans for all the love and support.

The actor's tweet read:

The Paa actor wrote on his blog, “The first day of shoot for KBC .. and the apprehensions and nervous energy eating up the intestines .. its been 18 years of KBC in India and the 10th season .. a majority of which have been associated with me .. seems strange but there it is .. those first days of its initiation in the year 2000, its struggles and trials, and now to be still at it in the year 2018 is by itself some revelation ..”

Mr Bachchan said that meeting people and hearing their stories of struggle and condition on the show is really very sad at times. The 75-year-old actor added, “Yet when you witness their achievements and the liberation of all their woes , it is the most satisfying moment. A life changes and in some small way when ‘KBC’ is able to achieve that then the association with the game show is all the more worthy."

Amitabh Bachchan hosted six successful seasons except for the third one which was hosted by King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan.

KBC 10 will be airing from 3rd September from 9 PM onwards on Sony TV.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Thugs of Hindostan which also stars Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan and Sana Fatima Sheikh in the lead roles. The movie is slated for Diwali 2018 release. Amit Ji will also be seen in Brahmastra which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy in important roles. The movie will release in 2019.
