Akshay Kumar Unveils The First Look Of Kesari On Saragarhi Day And Its Terrific

Kesari is one of the most anticipated movies of 2019 which stars the versatile actor Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. The movie has been making all the right kind of buzz since its inception. The film is based on the clash of Saragarhi and it is touted to be one of the most ambitious projects of 2019.

And today, on the special occasion of Saragarhi Day Akshay took to his Instagram to share the first look of Kesari and it has left us awestruck. The poster features the superstar as a Sardar and a soldier who seems to be leading the whole army of men. With a long beard, saffron turban a fierce expression on his face, he looks almost unrecognizable as he proudly raises his rifle in the air as he sports a khakhi uniform.

Well, not just Akshay, Karan Johar who is producing the film also took to his Instagram account to share the first poster and it is simply incredible.

This is the third film where he will be seen donning the avatar of a Sikh after Singh Is Kinng and 'Singh Is Bliing. Parineeti will be playing Akshay's love interest in the film and this is the first time we will see Parineeti in a historical period-drama film in her long career span. 

The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha and slated for 19th March 2019 release.
