Akshay Kumar calls Taimur Ali Khan as the future of Hindi film industry

As per latest reports, multi-talented star Akshay Kumar, together with co-actors Vidya Balan and Taapsee Pannu, has been on a promotional spree.

The stars are busy promoting their forthcoming flick Mission Mangal.

During one of its promotional episodes, Khiladi Kumar stated that the future of Bollywood is the cutest son of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan.

In a special talk with media people, Akki was questioned that which hero and heroine, according to him, will be the future of the Hindi film industry.


Akki at one took Taimur’s name. And there is no disbelief on it as the cutie pie is the most papped child in the history of Bollywood. After a few secs, Akshay lightheartedly added the name of Vidya.

After hearing this, The Dirty Picture actor started laughing and stated, “this is the best answer. I love it”.

Mission Mangal is a space drama, which is based on the nation’s ambitious Mars Orbitor Mission (MOM) that accomplished the difficult mission of forwarding an unmanned assignment to the red planet. The mission was mainly praiseworthy as it was mainly led by females. The movie has stellar cast that includes Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, South Indian actor Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi in addition to Vidya, Taapsee and Akshay.

Produced under the banner of R Balki, the flick has been helmed by Jagan Shakti. The movie will reach theaters on August 15.


Akshay, in the meantime, boasts of a lot of projects in his kitty. The shooting of his movie with Kareena, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, Good News, is fulfilled and is presently in post-production process.

He has been busy filming ace personality Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi and Hindi re-creation of Tamil super hit film Kanchana called Laxmi Bomb. He will also work in a special series with Amazon.

Taapsee as well has been busy filming her next Saandh Ki Aankh, in which she will share the screen space with Bhumi Pednekar. Vidya Balan just witnessed the release of her Tamil movie, Nerkonda Paarvai, where she has played short but noteworthy character.
