Akki, Taapsee, other celebs take up #WhyTheGap challenge: raising awareness on children’s wellbeing

The #WhyTheGap challenge is trending all over the social media handles of Bollywood celebrities.

Well known stars such as Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, Tahira Kashyap and others have already taken up this challenge in a successful manner.

The challenge is about sharing their childhood photos that offers up a message towards giving equal consideration for children from different financial backgrounds.

Ranveer Singh shared his old picture with the caption, "all good in the hood".

Shaheen Bhatt shared a photo in which we can see the baby Alia Bhatt in her lap.

Vicky Kaushal shared one of his old picture in which he is seen sitting inside the cabin of a regrigerator.

Bhumi Pednekar also shared her old photo in which she is wearing a cute red coloured dress.

Actress Twinkle Khanna shared a photo from her school group photo.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar shared a photo in which we can see him sitting on a bicycle. The actor said that there are millions of children who do not have access to proper meals in a day.

Sonam Kapoor also shared a school group photo and says that every child should be eligible for getting the right education.

In a photo shared by Taapsee Pannu, we can see the actor standing on a podium after a game, and she stated that she is lucky to get enough support from her family and teachers and there are many kids who do not get that support in their life.

Tahira Kashyap shared an old photo of her and she too spoke of the equality of education for kids from all sectors.
