Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has emerged as a credible artist ever since making his Bollywood debut. He has featured in many super hit movies and never fails to entertain the masses with his powerhouse performance. In recent updates, he has joined hands with producer Siddharth Roy Kapur.
The actor-producer duo has collaborated for the 90s based satire film going by the title Gobar. Taking to his Twitter handle, the Singham movie actor shared the news. He said, “Joining forces with Roy Kapur films to bring you an aMOOsing story from the heartland of India – GOBAR (sic).”
Speaking of the movie Gobar, Ajay Devgn said that it is unique, relatable, incredibly funny, as well as a gripping and entertaining movie. He even expressed his confidence that it will compel the masses to go to the theatres.
Furthermore, he added his very clear about the impact they want to make on the audience. Devgn said that the makers of the movie want viewers to laugh, relax, perhaps think a little bit, and also be entertained.
Later, the producer of the movie Gobar, Siddharth Roy Kapur added that it is a story that depicts the seemingly pointless but ultimately heroic journey of a simple citizen who deals with corruption. It will be presented in a way that it will be rib-tickling, full of adventure and ultimately a simple message about the power of a common man.
The sources close to the development reveal that the film is set in North India and the plot revolves around a story of veterinarian who takes a stand against local hospitals after finding out about their corrupt practices.
Gobar the movie will be directed by Sabal Shekhawat, The cast of the film hasn’t been finalised yet and the movie will reportedly go on floors in the latter half of 2021.
